      Dive into the unusual at the heart of an extraordinary establishment that pays homage to the Viking ship Aifur. Located in Gamla Stan in Stockholm 's Old Town, it opens its doors from Monday to Saturday to delight you with a 100% Viking atmosphere.


      The northerners have given way to passionate cooks and waiters happy to welcome you aboard their reconstructed ship. Tapestry from the Oseberg ship, chests, runestones, cookbooks from the late Iron Age, and even a pew from Kungsara Church— the place tells a story through its meticulous decor and dishes reminiscent of the flavors of yesteryear.


      Want to experience Viking cuisine? Order mussels boiled in mead, Helgasalad, Thor Hjort's venison, or King Bjorn's Birka-style pikeperch and let the magic happen. More than just a restaurant, Aifur is a vibrant place, lively and vibrant all year round with live concerts in Gamla Stan.
