  Hotel Hell. The only thing going for them is the location. Honestly feel a bit scammed, they rent out single rooms as doubles - after retroactively squeezing in a double bed in a single room making it a very tight squeeze. No room to even open up a suitcase. And when I say "double bed" I mean that sarcastically, it's not even a bed frame, it's a bed base with a futon on top, no mattress, no headboard, no frame, just springs on legs and a futon. Only one bedside table and lamp, only one outlet next to the bed, only one towel hanger in the bathroom - all obvious signs that it was originally a single room. Virtually no closet space. Countertop space mostly used up by an ancient TV they couldn't even bother to mount to the wall. Shower was falling apart - the glass wall part was broken free and essentially formed a double door, with the drilled hole in the floor tile underneath where it was once mounted showing. I was worried I'd bump into it and stand in a pile of glass shards any day. On two days there were some renovations going on in the room above, with someone hammer-drilling for hours. Completely unacceptable. Every night there was even light rain the water would drip from the roof onto a piece of sheet metal mounted right outside the window at terminal velocity, resulting in loud banging all night long. Sleep was basically impossible. Breakfast was extremely basic, the same every day, no variety, the carbonated water dispenser was always empty, only dispensing CO2. The only Swedish food - the Köttbullar - was unfortunately fake, made from soy. I feel there should be a law against that. All in all thank you for lowering the bar for hotels around the world, but now I have to retroactively increase my ratings for every hotel I ever reviewed by 1 Star just to make this review seem lower in comparison. 0/5 avoid at all cost.

  Fresh accommodation, a few small things that were worn but otherwise in good condition.

  Perfect location, great breakfast, comfortable beds, delicious dinner, very friendly staff especially at dinner. Didn't miss anything, would happily return.
