The Rydbergs establishment in Stockholm is not new, as it was in 1857 that the first establishment of this name was born, becoming the most prestigious hotel in the city in the 19th century. Magnificent, artistic and imposing, this Grand Hotel opened its doors at Gustav Adolfs Torg with a fantastic elegance that seduced intellectuals, artists and writers, happy to meet to share good moments of exchange and conviviality. A hotel yes, but above all a high place of Swedish gastronomy where Chef Gustafsson imagines, creates and sublimates the riches of the region. His creativity is rewarded by a superb culinary innovation that remains today the emblematic dish of Rydbergs: the Biff Rydberg. The closure and demolition of the hotel in 1914 left its mark on the minds of gastronomy lovers who had to wait until 1988 to rediscover the unique atmosphere of the hotel in the heart of the restaurant Le Rydbergs.
