Directions The Viking Museum - Experience the Viking epic through an immersive experience

About

  • English
    • The Viking Museum is an experiential museum for all ages that tells the story of the Viking Age in Scandinavia – from the brave seafarers to the people who stayed at home on farms. The exhibition is constantly evolving and is updated with new scientific research and archaeological discoveries. Here, visitors have the opportunity to experience one of history's most mythical periods in an innovative and interactive way – through films, sound effects, artifacts, and scenic environments. There are several guided tours in English every day, led by experienced guides in Viking-era dress. It is also possible to explore the museum with an audio guide, available in ten languages (including French ) and included in the admission price.

The Viking Museum also has its own ride, the Saga of Ragnfrid – an adventure-filled story about a Viking-era family and a raid across 10th-century Europe. The ride lasts eleven minutes and is available in nine languages, including French.
