  Personal, friendly and professional service. Happy, smiling staff at the reception, bar, in the corridor. Comfortable bed, cozy rooms. Good location. Clean and fresh.

  We stayed in the Victoria Suite of Hotel Kung Carl for New Year's Eve 2025. The suite is a wonderful small apartment with a separate living room and two bathrooms. The larger bathroom is complete with a bathtub, a shower and a small sauna. The suite also has a large balcony overlooking the Stureplan square. We received great and personal service both before and during our stay, the staff was very accommodating. Note that you need to request room keeping the day before, which is common in many Swedish hotels. We have been staying at Hotel Kung Carl for roughly ten years when visiting Stockholm. The vintage styling of the hotel rooms and the location in the beautiful city centre is perfect for celebrating New Year's Eve, anniversaries or similar occasions.
